Poem Drop: Dangerous
There is nothing more dangerous
Than a person who has survived oppression
After being told all his life
That he should be grateful for what he has been given,
Even if it isn’t what he always needed,
There is nothing more dangerous
Than a person who hung on long enough
To free himself from his oppression,
And now has the time, safety, and internal and external resources
To go after the bastards who did this to him.
